Are you an Account Manager who enjoys solving problems, getting things done and understanding how technology can make a difference to customers?
If you’re naturally curious, enjoy working out how things work and like bringing the right people together to find solutions, we’d like to hear from you.
Insurance or Insurtech experience is a major bonus, but we’re particularly interested in people with a strong mindset and a genuine curiosity about finding tech solutions.
About the Role
As an Account Manager at SchemeServe, your day-to-day will involve engaging with our clients regularly — through quality phone calls and video calls every day, as well as meeting clients in person once or twice a week.
Your main focus will be cultivating long-lasting relationships that drive client retention and renewals, helping our customers succeed with SchemeServe.
Salary: £40,000+ (depending on experience)

Take ownership of customer issues and drive them through to resolution — bringing together the right people, coordinating actions and keeping things moving.
Investigate customer problems, understand the different threads involved and work with internal teams to find practical solutions.
Act as a senior point of escalation for client concerns or complaints.
Monitor account health, identifying risks, opportunities and areas where we can improve the customer experience.
Report proactively to the Chief of Wunderwriting on successes, risks, account health and opportunities across your portfolio.
Support long-term renewal negotiations and identify opportunities for account growth.
Keep the CRM up to date, ensuring client records and communications are accurately recorded and accessible to the wider team.
Support outward sales campaigns and platform demonstrations on a case-by-case basis.
Organise corporate entertainment events and opportunities for clients to engage with the management team and other customers.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience in account management, client relationship management, customer success or a similar customer-facing role.
A genuine curiosity about technology and an interest in understanding how software and systems work. You don’t need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable asking technical questions and working with technical teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical people.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to keep track of multiple workstreams.
A proactive and diligent approach, with the ability to work at pace and follow things through without needing to be chased.
Experience working with software, technology platforms or SaaS products is highly desirable.
The ability to build rapport easily and develop trusted, long-term client relationships.
Experience in the insurance / Insurtech industry is a major bonus and will help you quickly understand our customers, their challenges and the environment they operate in.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car (for regular in-person client meetings).
