Are you looking for your next account management role in the insurance / Insurtech industry? If so, we’d like to hear from you!
About the Role
As an Account Manager at SchemeServe, your day-to-day will involve engaging with our clients regularly — through quality phone calls and video calls every day, as well as meeting clients in person once or twice a week.
Your main focus will be cultivating long-lasting relationships that drive client retention and renewals, helping our customers succeed with SchemeServe.
This role suits someone who enjoys balancing remote work with regular face-to-face client interaction. While we’re a fully remote company, this role involves regular in-person client meetings (typically once or twice per week), so it suits someone who enjoys getting out to meet customers.
Salary: £40,000+ (depending on experience)

Takes ownership of accounts and proactively identifies opportunities to improve client outcomes
Is naturally curious and enjoys understanding how technology can solve real business problems
Main Responsibilities
Oversee client account management, including assisting with and negotiating long-term renewal contracts to maximise profit.

Serve as the primary interface between SchemeServe experts and clients, ensuring the right people are connected to resolve issues and support client success.

Continually monitor SchemeServe’s portfolio of clients for indicators of account health and opportunities for growth, reporting pro-actively and regularly to the Chief of Wunderwriting on successes, risks, account health and opportunities.
Ensure our CRM system is kept up to date, with client records and communications stored centrally so the wider team stays aligned.
Support outward sales campaigns and platform demonstrations on a case-by-case basis.
Build trusted relationships that drive high client retention and successful long-term renewals across your portfolio.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience in the insurance / Insurtech industry, enabling you to understand and speak our clients’ language confidently and address their needs effectively.
Strong familiarity with insurance software platforms, ideally through hands-on experience using or managing them.
Experience in account management or client relationship roles, ideally within a software or technology company.
Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in written correspondence.
A proactive and curious mindset — you enjoy asking questions, understanding the bigger picture, and taking initiative without waiting for instructions.
The ability to build rapport easily and maintain strong client relationships.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car (for regular in-person client meetings).

About SchemeServe
At its heart, SchemeServe is all about making insurance simple. SchemeServe helps insurance brokers, MGAs, and insurers design, build, and manage their own insurance products (or ‘schemes’) with ease. These are all about sharing ideas, relaxing, and building real connections. Past retreats have featured everything from archery tag and murder mystery nights to inflatable obstacle courses and axe throwing—so expect some fun!
We’re big on personal growth and love to see our team pushing themselves to learn and develop new skills. Need books, mentoring, or professional development opportunities? We’ve got you covered.
Plus, we offer flexible working, paid days to volunteer for causes you care about, a friendly and supportive team and a relaxed but ambitious company culture.
